This year i'm enjoying my new life-world. As part of my job i have to travel to many places to visit our distributors.
After visited Bandung few weeks ago, then last week i went to Makassar on tuesday then continued to surabaya wed-friday. Trip to makassar was not really as i expected. The city is quite big, but looks like old city, but the food is great, especially coto makassar. It taste soooooooo good *i had 2 portions*. In Makassar i stayed at Aston Hotel, the hotel is everage, not so clean but still okay. The people there are nice and friendly. I enjoyed all conversation i had with some of our agents there.
My mom asked me to buy minyak tawon, its very expensive, but its really good. The funny thing was about the airplane. After so many unexpected accident happened lately people always afraid to take a plane. in the plane is quite strange as people now less talk, they all very quiet, especially when the flight attendant announce about bad weather, nobody talk or laugh or sleep..all stay awake and pray.
This is not right, i used to fly with smaller airplane before when i have to go back to sumba, evn the flight is not smooth but passenger still can enjoy the trip, but these days its all gone.
Since there's no many choices for transportation, people got no choice but have to use airplane to travel.
Surabaya is much different now with many new shopping malls all over the city. unfortunately its not balance with the consuming rate.. the supply is much bigger than demand.
Anyway trip to surabaya was great as its like i went to my homeland. I had lived in sby for more than 5 years before moved to jakarta. Quite missed the food there.
4 days leaving jakarta is quite long..and its good to be back ...
Next trip will be central java, sumatera, kalimantan..
I'm excited to visit some new places and enjoy new food....
