" For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future ." (Jeremiah 29:11) Today's Word from Joel and Victoria God wants to bless you not just because He loves you, which He does, but also so that you can be a blessing to others. God wants you to experience not just blessing, but tremendous blessing, in your life because He knows that when you taste of His love and goodness you want to go out and share it with someone else. You can do this by partnering with other believers around you and in the ministry, and by reaching out to lost and searching people around the world. There are millions of people in our world who need to know that God has a more hope-filled future for them—and you can help them find it! A Prayer for Today God, thank You for Your tremendous blessings You shower upon me. Use me to pour out those same blessings to others who need to know You. In ...

God Remembers Your Sins No More

Daily Devotional by Joseph Prince Hebrews 10:17 17 … “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” I don’t know about you, but I would say that Hebrews 10:17 is good news. God sees all our sins — past, present and future — and says, “Your sins I remember no more!” The words “no more” are a strong double negative in the Greek. In other words, God is saying, “Your sins I will never, by no means, remember!” Has God lowered His standards? No, God is still perfectly holy. God did remember all our sins — 2,000 years ago at the cross. Every single sin we have ever committed or will ever commit has been punished to the full in the body of Jesus Christ on the cross. That is why today, God remembers our sins no more. We should, therefore, not be sin-conscious. Each time we fall into sin, God wants us to remember the cross and say, “Lord Jesus, you were sentenced for this sin I committed. You bore the judgment, so there is no judgment for me. You were condemned for...

The power of prayer - Joel Osteen

"To You, O LORD, I called, and to the Lord I made supplication." (Psalm 30:8) Prayer is a vital part of your Christian life . God promises so many things to those that call upon Him for help and for blessings! David, the author of Psalm 30, certainly knew what it meant to call out to God for his needs. David also knew how to believe in God for great things. You can do the same! Call upon God in sincere prayer, and He will answer! God is calling you to go deeper than you have ever gone before; He desires bigger and better things for you. You just need to have the determination to seek after the blessings that God has in store for you. You can experience amazing things if you just unleash the power of prayer in your life. A Prayer for Today God, thank You for promising many things to me as I am faithful to seek You in prayer. Today, I pray for strength and a new resolve to step out and have full faith in You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

On Saturday by Max Lucado

John didn’t know on that Friday what you and I now know. He didn’t know that Friday’s tragedy would be Sunday’s triumph. John would later confess that he “did not yet understand from the Scriptures that Jesus must rise from the dead” (John 20:9). That’s why what he did on Saturday is so important. We don’t know anything about this day; we have no passage to read, no knowledge to share. All we know is this: When Sunday came, John was still present. When Mary Magdalene came looking for him, she found him. Jesus was dead. The Master’s body was lifeless. John’s friend and future were buried. But John had not left. Why? Was he waiting for the resurrection? No. As far as he knew, the lips were forever silent and the hands forever still. He wasn’t expecting a Sunday surprise. Then why was he here? You’d think he would have left. Who was to say that the men who crucified Christ wouldn’t come after him? The crowds were pleased with one crucifixion; the religious leaders might ...

Choose Your Relationships with Care

"When you walk with wise men, you will become wise, but a companion of fools will be destroyed." (Proverbs 13:20) Today's Word from Joel and Victoria The quality of life is often determined by the quality of our relationships. Do you know that you will become like the people you associate with? If you constantly spend your time around lazy and undisciplined people, then before long, you're going to be lazy and undisciplined. But on the other hand, if you associate with successful people, then you're going to be successful. If you spend your time with people of vision, who are going places in life, you will be inspired to go further than you would on your own. Take time to examine your friendships. Ask yourself, do I want to be like this person? Do I like their qualities? Do they inspire me to reach for new heights? As you choose to be around wise people, you will become wise too, and walk in the abundant life God has for you! A Prayer for Today G...

Change your Words, Change your World

This message really speak to my heart...i hope it will bless you as well.. its taken from Joelosteen.com "Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put devious lips far from you." Proverbs 4:23-24 Today's Word from Joel and Victoria We want to encourage you today to watch what you are saying. Your words have creative power and you can use them as a destructive force or as an instrument of blessing. If you continually speak negative words over your life, then eventual defeat will be the result. In the same way, if you speak words of faith and victory, you will see a harvest of blessing not only in your own life, but also in the lives of those around you. Remember your mother telling you: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all?" That was good advice. Don't give life to your negative thoughts by speaking them out. You can't continue to...

Be Christ-Conscious

by Ps. Joseph Prince - New Creation Church - Singapore Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace Have you ever woken up in the morning and said, “Today, I will not sin.” And as you leave your house, you say, “I must be careful not to fall into sin today. I don’t want to sin. I will not sin!” My friend, when you do this, you are no longer Christ-conscious but sin-conscious, even though you have not sinned yet. Men, have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I don’t want to look at any woman in case I lust”? You are being sin-conscious when you think like that. And sooner or later, you will lust in your heart. You may not sin outwardly, but you will sin inwardly. Have you also tried confessing every sin? I have! As a teenager, when a bad thought came, I would quickly say, “Sorry Lord, forgive me for this thought in Jesus’ name.” Then, another thought would come and I would quickly say, “Forgiv...

The Antidote To Fear

The Antidote To Fear by Ps. Joseph Prince (new creation church - singapore) 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear… Experts tell us that babies have two natural fears: The fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. A study on fear was conducted on 500 adults of varying ages, backgrounds and lifestyles. The results showed that there were 7,000 different fears shared among them. This means that they have learnt 6,998 fears since they were born. That is a lot of fears learnt! Actually, our bodies are designed for faith. Fear was foreign to man until Adam sinned against God. For the first time, Adam knew fear, and he hid from God and said, “I heard Your voice… I was afraid… I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10) Since then, man has been living in the realm of fear — fear of the future, fear of what others might say, fear of diseases, fear of flying… Actually, every fear is born out of the feeling of being cut off from God. If you think that God is s...

The Battle Is The Lord's

by Ps. Joseph Prince (new creation church - singapore) 2 Chronicles 20:15 ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. When faced with a problem or a challenge, we ask ourselves, “What am I going to do?” And well-meaning family members and friends will come along and ask, “What are you going to do?” Jehoshaphat faced a multitude of enemies. But instead of focusing on what he could do, he prayed, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12) When we turn our eyes on God, we will hear Him say, “Do not be afraid nor be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s... You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord…” (2 Chronicles 20:15,17) But standing still is the last th...

*Still He Walked*

counting the days to the most sacred day in christian life... the day that hold all the answer .. so all people can say ..No wonder they call Him savior --- H e could hear the crowds screaming “crucify” “crucify”… He could hear the hatred in their voices, These were his chosen people. He loved them, And they were going to crucify him. He was beaten, bleeding and weakened… his heart was broken, But still He walked. He could see the crowd as he came from the palace. He knew each of the faces so well. He had created them. He knew every smile, laugh, and shed tear, But now they were contorted with rage and anger…his heart broke, But still He walked. Was he scared? You and I would have been, so his humanness would Have mandated that he was. He felt alone. His disciples Had left, denied, and even betrayed him. He searched the crowd for a loving face and he saw very few. Then he turned his eyes to the only one that mattered And he knew that he would never be alone. He looked ba...

Kong Hee Session-1: The Holy Spirit I King 18 – it took only one day for elijah to turn the people back to acknowledge God through sacrifice Now it’s the time for Indonesia for breakthrough !!! What we learn about the Holy Spirit - Holy Spirit is the person He can communicate and have fellowship with us. - Holy Spirit has a presence Its not just enough to understand the principle of Gods love but you must enjoy it, feel it. We don’t just walk by feeling but faith and faith will produce feeling. The Holy Spirit is more like wind (you can feel His blowing), fire (you can feel His burning fire), oil (you can feel His flowing) and rain (you can feel His falling). He is like atmosphere. Ministry with tongue

Pdt. Jacob N. Seminar, Thursday March 23rd 2006 Ministry with tongue Church is God’s tongue in the world. It is supposed to declare the glory of God to the world. The service in the chruch should be better that the service we find in the public area such as supermarket, bandk, etc. It the church is losing its kindness then don’t ask questions why people leaving from church. To receive Christ you pay nothing, but then there’s price you have to pay when you follow Him. Our ministry is part of our way on following Him. Don’t worry about your future because God’s promise that He will bless His people while they sleep. Sleep means the dead of all activities that means that your eyes, ears and mouth will out of use while you’re sleeping. So don’t worry if God can bless you while you do nothing all you need just come to Him first in time of need not to other human being. Church must be in unity Unity is the source of the blessing. Eph 4:1-6 As a...

The Power and The Presence of God

By Benny Hinn Saturday, March 25 th 2006 Act 1:8 But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem , in all of Judea and Samaria , and to the ends of the earth." This is the promise of God that we’ll receive the power just after the Holy Spirit comes. Joh 14:16-17 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever. He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you. The truth obout the Holy Spirit: - He is with us (before the salvation, He reveals the Lord to us) - He is in us (after the salvation) - His outhority is on us The Holy Spirit is talking about the presence of the Lord. The glory of God is talking abput the Lord’s attributes Then the glory of God explain th...

This sunday the message still about relationship in the family, about loving each other. We will learn from Noah in the Old Testament. (Genesis 6) Living a pleasing Life Eph 5:8-10 8.You yourselves used to be in the darkness, but since you have become the Lord's people, you are in the light. So you must live like people who belong to the light, 9.for it is the light that brings a rich harvest of every kind of goodness, righteousness, and truth. 10.Try to learn what pleases the Lord . Genesis 6:8 But the LORD was pleased with Noah. Noah has lived a life that pleasing God, we can learn from him how to build a life that pleasing God's heart. *DOMINION MANDATE FOR YOUR FAMILY*

Sunday, 5 March 2006 IFGF Gisi KA 1 Sarbini Ps. Jimmy Oentoro DOMINION MANDATE FOR YOUR FAMILY In the beginning, man was created after everything else. So everything was ready to use for Adam. Gen 2:18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him." We learnt that God is the initiator to bring a helper for Adam, because God knew that Adam can't manage everything He has given alone * God knows the right timing for Adam to have a partner When God wants to display His dominion mandate in our life, He starts from family There are 3 restorations God mentioned in Maleachi 1.Restoration of the heart of Fathers and children Mal 4:6 He will bring fathers and children together again; otherwise I would have to come and destroy your country." 2. Restoration of finance through offering, tithing and first fruit to remind us That God owns the whole thing Mal 3:10 Bring the full amount of y...

'Becoming God's Conscious People'

by Pastor Daniel Runtuwene IFGF Gisi - Balai Sarbini Sunday, Jan 29th 2006 in our life sometimes whether we realize or not, we tend to be man's conscious, we tend to depend on people around us and even sometimes we become satan's conscious, when we have hard times, we say that's satan who does it, etc.. now we're gonna learn how to become God's conscious people .. Rom 12:1-3 (From The Message) There are 3 things, how we can be God's Conscious People: 1. Take your everyday life and placeit before God as an offering 12:1 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. - simply just watch our everyday life... - example while we'r sleeping, God can give an inspiration, we can pray for it - don't forget that God wants only the best for ou...

"Be Satisfied...In God's Timing"

by Sarah Bowling “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). How would you describe this “season” in your life? Are you feeling restless because ”things” are progressing too slowly…or too quickly? Be encouraged! In Matthew 6:34, Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow. Worrying certainly won’t change God’s timeline—and it won’t “help” Him do what’s best for us. Perhaps you yearn to be married…hope for a career promotion…or desire a loved one to come to Christ. Be patient! God has a divine timing and purpose for all things. He is intimately aware of your desires and acquainted with each season of your life. He knows exactly what you need, and when you need it. God has a PERFECT plan for your future in mind…and He is always right on time. Be prayerful! When you feel impatient or panicky…or God’s answer seems too late or too early…align your calendar with God’s schedule. Ask Him to reveal His will for you. Look for e...

^How to know God's voice^

i'm reading a an interesting book about relationship, it called " Chosing God's Best " its my favorite book..and i love to read it over and over again..and in the chapter eight, about Recognizing God's voice there are some interesting clue about how to differ God's voice to Satan's voice..that's very easy.. God's voice.. *stills you *leads you *reassures you *enlightens you *encourages you *comforts you *calms you *convits you while satan's voice.. ~rushes you ~pushes you ~frightens you ~confuses you ~discourages you ~worries you ~obsesses you ~condemns you it tells more that the voice of the Good shepherd is gentle, familiar sounding, and loving. It leaves you with a sense of spiritual uplift and rejoicing, never fight (john 10:3-5, 14-16, 27-28) It doesn't make you feel worried or afraid. The still, small voice of the Holy Spirit - an inner voice - is able to 'check' you inside as to whether something is God. I really...

#Faith is Holding Our Hand#

one more good lesson i have today from my daily bible lesson...written by Elisabeth Elliot . Sometimes when I was a child my mother or father would say,"Shut your eyes and hold out your hand." That was the promise of some lovely surprise. I trusted them, so I shut my eyes instantly and held out my hand. Whatever they were going to give me I was ready to take. So it should be in our trust of our heavenly Father. Faith is the willingness to receive whatever He wants to give, or the willingness not to have what He does not want to give. I am content to be and have what in Thy heart I am meant to be and have. (George MacDonald, Diary of an Old Soul ) From the greatest of all gifts, salvation in Christ, to the material blessings of any ordinary day (hot water, a pair of legs that work, a cup of coffee, a job to do and strength to do it), every good gift comes down from the Father of Lights. Every one of them is to be received glady and, like gifts people give us, with...
