Forgiveness. . . What's it for?

by Larry James (taken from http://www.celebratelove.com/forgive.htm) I just found this article and the message is very true..i'd like to share with all of you.. LoveNote. . . If we really want to love, we must learn how to forgive. - Mother Theresa Forgiveness works! It is often difficult, AND it works! We often think of forgiveness as something that someone who has done us wrong must ask of US. There is always another way of looking at something. My thoughts on forgiveness suggest that you focus on offering forgiveness TO the person who has wronged you. To not forgive them is like taking the poison (continuing to suffer for what they did or didn't do to you) and expecting THEM to die! Alexander Pope once said, "To err is human; to forgive, Divine." Believe it! Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It is not something you do FOR someone else. It is not complicated. It is simple. Simply identify the situation to be forgiven and ask your...

*My love letter*

Today i just had a pre-wedding video clip shooting. Its very interesting and enjoyable. I got to enjoy a fancy red Z4 BMW, and ride an extra long bike with David, enjoy a coconut together and in the end i got his love letter. I know it doesnt change anything as its just written for me for video clip shooting and we've engaged but its very nice to have him write such a lovely notes and it really touch my heart. David is not a type of person who likes to write something like that, he's the kind of guy who prefer to say those things directly. Our wedding is coming soon on May 20th, 2007. Its been a wonderful journey for us being together. Looking forward to more excitement journey together ahead. I'm so overwhelmed by God's goodness in my life, as He has provided the perfect one for me just in a perfect time. Anyway, i'm so happy beyond explaination..there're too many reasons for me to believe that i'm far away from deserving this all good things in ...

I believe everyone of us longing to have a peaceful heart. Its so priceless that can't be traded with money. It comes from within ur soul depend on the atmosphere of your heart. It doesn't matter that what your circumtances might look as you can't change it for sure but when you have a peaceful heart you can still get through it with smile on your lips, because you know that in the end you'll be the one who will keep standing!! To have the atmosphere you only need to believe in God and be God's consciousness person.. Have faith in Him and His promise. In my entire life, God has been so faithful to me. I just couldn't imagine how my life would be if God never entered my life. I've been up and down, making mistakes, doing so many stupid things but still He is the One who always keep His promise that He will never ever leave me and no one can take me away from His love. Whenever i face some hard times, i learn to believe that in the end there'll alway...

Choose Your Relationships with Care

"When you walk with wise men, you will become wise, but a companion of fools will be destroyed." (Proverbs 13:20) Today's Word from Joel and Victoria The quality of life is often determined by the quality of our relationships. Do you know that you will become like the people you associate with? If you constantly spend your time around lazy and undisciplined people, then before long, you're going to be lazy and undisciplined. But on the other hand, if you associate with successful people, then you're going to be successful. If you spend your time with people of vision, who are going places in life, you will be inspired to go further than you would on your own. Take time to examine your friendships. Ask yourself, do I want to be like this person? Do I like their qualities? Do they inspire me to reach for new heights? As you choose to be around wise people, you will become wise too, and walk in the abundant life God has for you! A Prayer for Today G...

finally..

today i just found out what it really means of.." don't judge a book by its cover ".. few months ago i thought something that "Too good to be true" is about to happen but then i realize that it doesn't happen instantly, it takes a process and off course it takes time, when we rush we wont be able to see things clearly now i know that everything has it own time, especially when it comes to a relationship no matter its a friendship or romance, all the same. I did lot of mistakes in the past and whether i realize or not sometimes i hurt someone's heart, and made them turn to be a person i never knew before.. totally out of the image box.. then something that used to be a " too good to be true " now become " thank God i didnt believe that ".. i'm confused, should i be sorry or grateful ? but my heart tell me to be grateful in everything.. last nite, me and the gank were having a bridal shower for our beloved sister and...

A collection of thoughts on love

Got this message from a friend.. as i read those lines below..it touches my heart.. its a very simple message but hard to do..but we should try.. for the sake of LOVE.. --- It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion, and the romance in a relationship and find out you still care for that person. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but oftentimes we look so long at the closed door, that we don’t see the one that has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you...

LOVE...for Husband and Wife FOR HUSBAND : Love your wife 1. Provide Headship / Leadership 1 Corintians 11:3 But it is important for you to keep this fact in mind, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God. Eph 5:23 The husband provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to his church, not by domineering but by cherishing. The husband must provide the quality of leadership in family but not a dictatorship. Just be the leader in simple things such as pray for your child everyday, speak blessings upon t...

How To Build Great Relationships

How To Build Great Relationships By Brian Houston I just found this new book, haven't read it yet, but i believe this is a very good book... --------- One of the greatest gifts God has given us is people. When you think of giving someone gifts, you may think of inanimate objects or things, but God thinks of people. When He saw Adam was alone, He gave him a wife and companion. When He saw the world in need, He gave us Jesus. When He wants to change an enterprise, community or nation, He raises up people who will fulfil His purposes. Great relationships are a sign of a prosperous life but they don't come by chance. Sadly, we live in a world filled with broken relationships. I'm not only talking about broken marriages, but failed friendships, family fall-outs or bitter business partnerships. The reality is that you certainly don't fluke a good marriage, a great friendship or a successful business partnership. The principles that you sow into the relationship will dete...

Life Lesson for marriage

its proved that i'm not a journal-ers...as its been a long time not up-date it.. but there's an important message that i need to share you all of you..about Relationship .. some of you might knew that for some reasons i once decided to enter the next level of my life in marriage..then after few weeks..i gave up on it.. you may ask why..actually its not easy to talk about it because its easy for me to get over it.. but somehow my heart keep telling me to share this to you.. there are many things i've learnt on this.. - relationships is involving 2 mature persons who has the same goal, age doesn't determine the person is mature or not... (age is not the reason for rushing...) - family and other circumtances can't be the reason for you to go for it.. because if they love you then they'll be happy if you are happy. - marriage is following by a process, there's no such thing as an instant relationship for marriage.. if you ever think that...
