He is the Deliverer

“A Righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all” (Psalm 34:19) Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Osteen No matter what “troubles” you may be facing today, God has promised to deliver you! And notice this verse doesn’t say He's going to deliver you from “some” of your troubles — “if you say and do everything perfectly.” No, if you are righteous today, God promises to deliver you from all of your troubles. How do you know if you are righteous? When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, when you accept His forgiveness and believe He is working in your life, then you are righteous. Your faith and belief in the goodness of God is His righteousness at work in your heart. The Bible says in Romans 4, that “Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness.” If you are facing troubles today, expect that God has a way of escape for you. Expect that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Meditate on this verse and let it ...

The Family Of God Eph 2:19 So then, you Gentiles are not foreigners or strangers any longer; you are now citizens together with God's people and members of the family of God. Imagine how do you feel if mr. president wants to call u as his children, you must be really happy and proud.. And it will make u even more blessed that God has chosen you to be His child..He choose you…!! What we learn as the Family of God 1. We’re God’s family Gal 6:10 Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith. Be kind to each other who has the same faith 2. We’re Gods children Joh 1:12 Some, however, did receive him and believed in him; so he gave them the right to become God's children. He’s the initiator to make us His children, not us. Ro...

'Becoming God's Conscious People'

by Pastor Daniel Runtuwene IFGF Gisi - Balai Sarbini Sunday, Jan 29th 2006 in our life sometimes whether we realize or not, we tend to be man's conscious, we tend to depend on people around us and even sometimes we become satan's conscious, when we have hard times, we say that's satan who does it, etc.. now we're gonna learn how to become God's conscious people .. Rom 12:1-3 (From The Message) There are 3 things, how we can be God's Conscious People: 1. Take your everyday life and placeit before God as an offering 12:1 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before God as an offering. How To Build Great Relationships

How To Build Great Relationships By Brian Houston I just found this new book, haven't read it yet, but i believe this is a very good book... --------- One of the greatest gifts God has given us is people. When you think of giving someone gifts, you may think of inanimate objects or things, but God thinks of people. When He saw Adam was alone, He gave him a wife and companion. When He saw the world in need, He gave us Jesus. When He wants to change an enterprise, community or nation, He raises up people who will fulfil His purposes. Great relationships are a sign of a prosperous life but they don't come by chance. Sadly, we live in a world filled with broken relationships. I'm not only talking about broken marriages, but failed friendships, family fall-outs or bitter business partnerships. The reality is that you certainly don't fluke a good marriage, a great friendship or a successful business partnership. The principles that you sow into the relationship will dete...

"Be Satisfied...In God's Timing"

by Sarah Bowling “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). How would you describe this “season” in your life? Are you feeling restless because ”things” are progressing too slowly…or too quickly? Be encouraged! In Matthew 6:34, Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow. Worrying certainly won’t change God’s timeline—and it won’t “help” Him do what’s best for us. Perhaps you yearn to be married…hope for a career promotion…or desire a loved one to come to Christ. Be patient! God has a divine timing and purpose for all things. He is intimately aware of your desires and acquainted with each season of your life. He knows exactly what you need, and when you need it. God has a PERFECT plan for your future in mind…and He is always right on time. Be prayerful! When you feel impatient or panicky…or God’s answer seems too late or too early…align your calendar with God’s schedule. Ask Him to reveal His will for you. Look for e...
