"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." {I Corinthians 9: 24-27}
A lot of people are good at starting things. Endurance to the end they may not be so good at. They get tired and quit to early. The hardest part of any journey is the middle. Are you discouraged? Remember you are not there yet. Keep going. We are not able to see the finish line. If we continue and don't give up the end is so sweet. Just like running a marathon. I'm not a runner so quitting would look quite attractive to me. Hope for the future and faith are our 'cheering section' helping us to keep going. And we have each other challenging us to never give up. The prize at the end of the journey is worth all.
